Having just had a water meter installed, the leaflet that came with it suggested that if plastic pipework had been used we should get the earthing of our domestic electricity supply checked. Alex slotted us in as quickly as he could, turned up bang on time and thoroughly checked all aspects of the installation, from the on-street water meter to the earth connection at the internal water supply and at both the electricity and domestic gas (smart metered) meters. He explained that he was satisfied that the earthing throughout was to standard (it might not have been if the water meter had been installed internally - as had at one stage been suggested).
