Checked and Vetted, has been shortlisted to the Regional  finals of the NE Business Awards in the best Service Category - which is a massive honour and the team is over the moon! Who says hard work is never rewarded ? We are only as ever as good as our fantastic tradespeople and the wonderful people of the NE who use our services - thank you everyone including our brilliant team who work so hard! The Durham & Wearside finals will be hosted in The Stadium of Light on March 7th !! Wish us luck!

Britain faces growing skilled tradesmen crisis (From The Daily Mail June 13th) Britain faces growing skilled tradesmen crisis after a drastic fall in the number of plumbers, bricklayers and carpenters. Figures for skilled tradesmen plummeted by 7% in the last year alone. Plumbers have been the worst hit with a 25% drop in the last four years. Only cleaners, chimney sweeps and female-run businesses are on the up.
