Wall knocked through between kitchen and dining room, existing steel lintels and masonry column removed. New steels installed, new electrics, plumbing, re plaster, flooring + kitchen fit. James is a top guy and got some great lads working for him. I can't praise him and his team highly enough, excellent from start to finish. The team are all friendly + trustworthy, and made a real effort to keep the place tidy throughout. They even stayed late some evenings and worked Saturdays to make sure the job was finished on time. James has a great eye for detail, makes good recommendations, and it's clear it's really important to him that you have a top quality product when the work is complete, and we're delighted with everything they've done. I'll definitely be giving them a call when we're ready for our next project.

Wall removed making one large room. Step room, plastering, cupboard built in alcove. Picture rail, new internal doors, glass brick wall. Ply floor ready for flooring. James and his team were friendly and professional and I am thrilled with their work. My new room is amazing and the standard of workmanship excellent. Highly recommended. Will be using again in future. .

Full refurbishment of a Tyneside flat, digging out and replacing rotten joists and repairing and tanking walls moving bathroom and kitchen adding drainage through a load bearing wall and concrete rear yard. Cornicing matched in master bedroom and replaced. Flawless. James and his team were very professional, hard working and their work was of a very high standard. They salvaged and reused as much of the original features of the property and were easy to get along with they did everything properly building control and architects, invoices and staged payments he has held of his last payment until all my snagging list is complete. Many thanks and will strongly recommend.

Total kitchen and utility room refurbishment. James and his team did an excellent job. The project was well planned and required skills coordinated at appropriate times. He is very tidy and works to a high standard of finish. James himself is very personable and easy to have a two way conversation on any improvements or changes that occur during the project. We are a very happy client.

Stairs were moved and replaced . New cupboards were built and an en suite bathroom was created and fitted out. Extensive plastering , electrical and joinery work was involved. Subfloor ventilation was also installed. . James and his Team were punctual, neat and tidy. They were a friendly team of tradesman who transformed a number of rooms in our house by moving walls , electrics etc. The finished job looked great and was to a high standard.

Build extension to provide kitchen/diner also convert garage to utility room. One of three firms recommended to us by our architect were JW Dickinson and we are pleased we chose them. We cannot praise JW Dickinson enough for the kitchen/diner extension and utility room they built onto our bungalow. The team always arrived on time, were friendly, polite, courteous, and extremely tidy, completing the work to the highest of standards that was greater than our expectations. As the work progressed James suggested alternatives to what we had planned and we immediately agreed to these changes. We were delighted we did, as the project looks fabulous and his knowledge of construction is second to none. We were always updated on progress, which made life easier for ourselves. Every evening the site was cleaned up and the team went extra miles to ensure they completed to the deadline. This is a fantastic building company who I would recommend to everyone. .

Total remodel of downstairs. knocked conservatory down, moved kitchen into the old living room, totally opened the whole of the back of the house to open plan. downstairs toilet. extended garage forward and back. I know this was a year ago but I wanted to live with it before giving my review. It is brilliant. The whole team were so lovely and helpful from James to all contractors he recommended. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Changes were made as we went along and we were given good advice each time. the standard of workmanship is 1st class. We may have paid more than we intended but it was money well spent. I cant praise them high enough. Thank you James and the team we should have done it years ago.

Removal of old galley kitchen, complete downstairs re-fit - kitchen moved to former dining room, new utility and downstairs WC created, new boiler/electrics, new exterior doors. From beginning to end, James and his entire team were the most fantastic builders and tradesmen we could have ever hoped for. The planning process was entirely stress free. During the build, the team always arrived on time, were polite and courteous, and extremely tidy. The quality of the work is faultless and to the very highest standards. James was always accessible and proactive. We were able to workout a reasonable payment schedule in advance of work starting. The end result is absolutely stunning and we of course wouldn’t hesitate to use and recommend James again.

New kitchen and utility fitted with additional Velux window, bi-fold doors and new flooring throughout downstairs. Very happy with all the work,which has been completed by James and his team.
A few issues were fully and quickly resolved. James was easily contactable and kept me informed of the progress and process.

Hired James and his crew to take down an internal wall. James is very experienced and knowledgable about the building trade.
I felt very comfortable and reassured by his confidence in doing the work asked of him.
James has a great team of workers who know their job, are polite and respectful of you and your home and are dedicated to completing the job at a very high standard.
