Complete replacement of old slate roof on Edwardian terrace with new tile. The job was completed in good time, other services such as rubbish collection, scaffold erection and delivery of materials were well organised and timely. Once started, the men stayed on the job until it was complete, and did not mysteriously fail to turn up some days ! There was, inevitably, some mess, but my property was generally treated with respect. It was a much less painful experience than I expected.
