Replacement roof on house. 'New Durham Roofing' replaced my roof at the end of March and I am very disappointed with the job. Within 2 days it rained in. I rang them and they came and adjusted the lead work around the chimney. After a week it rained in at exactly the same place again. They came out and yet again adjusted the lead work. As we have had no significant rainfall recently I am still unsure if I have a watertight roof. Also before completion, they ran out of tiles and the top two courses are a different colour to the rest of the roof!! I am unsure whether I have the confidence to let them replace the mismatched tiles.They have refused to refund me any money, even though the job is not to my satisfaction and are totally unprofessional roofers. I feel very let down. Think twice before using this company.

*UPDATE*- Since writing my original review, my roof is still not watertight and I have had to employ another roofer to redo the lead work. He was astounded at how bad the workmanship was and the whole lead had to be replaced.

Replacing existing roof ridge tiles with a new Dry Fix Ridge system. An excellent job done to a professional standard, at the price agreed. All old materials removed and area cleaned after new system fitted.

New flat roof boards and felt above bedroom ridge tiles realigned chimney pointing. Found on Checked and Vetted. John came and removed old flat roof boards and felt replaced with new realigned ridge tiles and pointed around chimney he was friendly efficient and completed the work even after it was dark. Then came back to check all was ok and make sure all work completed whilst it was getting dark was complete. A good workman I will recommend.
